It is always impressive to see what people can do with paper – bonus points if they do those things in miniature. Enter Nayan Shrimali and Vaishali Chudasama, two artists who run a studio in India. Together they are working on a project called 365 Days of Miniature where they create a mini bird sculpture a day. The realism and details in these tiny birds is amazing.

It is not surprising that something cool happened in San Francisco. It all started when the pop-up installation Color Factory opened in August 2017. The 12,000 square foot pop-up color experience was nestled in SF’s Union Square neighborhood, it was a two-story exhibition celebrating color and material that featured 15 collaborations by creatives.
