Photoshop Actions
I just started exploring Photoshop actions. For those of you who have never tried them out they are basically a shortcut and a way to save time. You press “play” and the action runs your photo though a pre-made list of Photoshop steps. It is pretty neat, I don’t edit a ton of photos so I can’t say that I would use them all the time, but it would be invaluable to those who edit a ton of photos all the time. You can create your own actions and save them, you can buy them, or you can find some free actions offered online. This particular set of actions I am using is free from Afterglow.

It happened. I got a smart phone. I’m a few years behind the curve, but I now have Instagram! I dig it. It is still a novelty to me right now so it’s extra awesome. I’m not used to taking a ton of photos with my phone, but I am really trying! It doesn’t help that my phone makes an annoying shutter sound every time I take a photo (I can’t turn this off either…thanks HTC!). Anyway when I’m in an environment where I can take a loud photo, I’m enjoying the process. I like all the filter options, it’s like having a mini Photoshop in my phone.
