The year 2020 marked a moment in time that was simultaneously – yet uniquely – experienced by 7.8 billion people across the globe. This is a project that I had the idea for to help connect UNR Med faculty, staff, students, and community. Over the course of a month, we solicited “moment” from our audience to help create a collective illustration. Although we were unable to get together in person, we knew that it was important to show appreciation for the remarkable moments we have shared – even while apart. These images were meant to invoke interest and intrigue in the project.
