It is really hard not to be impressed by the deep rich culture of Rome. Everywhere you look there seems to be a piece of history.

Here are my recommendations for things to check out and try:

Again with the markets! They are pretty amazing so if you are able to stay in a apartment and do some cooking, for sure do that:

  • Campo di fiori market –
  • Located: Piazza di Campo de’ Fiori, 00186 Rome, Italy
  • Speciality:  Fruits, pasta, fish, flowers, basically everything amazing

I found some of the most delightful cookies in the Trastevere area at Biscottificio Innocenti (Via della Luce 21, 00153 Rome). This place is a magical gem of delicious cookies!

We also spent a whole day looking at the Colosseum and Roman Forum. It was wonderful and kind of weird that they just let us walk all over those amazing pieces of history.
