Illustration Friday is a new topic I will be posting on my blog. It is a pretty cool operation where a new illustration topic is posted every Friday and then participants have all week to come up with their own interpretation. Just a low pressure fun reason to get creative.

So here is my interpretation of the topic “Déjà Vu”:

As a child I used to have this recurring dream that a snake was following me around our apartment building. Thankfully he always kept his distance. I have taken some artistic liberties with his appearance, but I think the eyebrows are pretty spot on.
