San Francisco Treats

I’m in love with the Tell Tale Preserve Co. Over the last couple of months I’ve seen their Society Bags – their name for a sampler treat bag – pop up on various blogs with rave reviews. After months of waiting I finally got my hands on one while in San Francisco this last weekend.

The March bag was filled with the perfect combination of sweet and savory delights. My personal favorite was the fennel-mandarin marmalade. I could eat it on cardboard and it would be delicious. I have the feeling there will be more of these bags in my future. You can order your own treat bag and check out their company here. It is a pretty cool operation. I also got a chance to have a “rebel within” muffin, which is nothing short of spectacular.

I also got a chance to make another of my foodie dreams come true this weekend with a trip to Tartine Bakery. You might remember me fantasizing about them a few months back. I didn’t opt for the bread pudding this time, but I did have the most amazing open face croque-monsieur. This bakery was amazing and everything I expected it to be.

All in all I would say my trip to San Francisco was pretty fantastic.
